June,19 is famously known as Fathers Day, a day honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society, and Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika was not left behind.
Many Kenyans took to their social media pages to celebrate their fathers, others celebrated their husbands or fathers to their children.
Politicians also used the opportunity to reveal more about their families who are usually away from the political limelight.
Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika used the day to praise her millionaire husband, Sam Mburu who is hardly seen in political rallies.
Kihika an ally of the Deputy President William Ruto shared the photos of her sweetheart and their family, thanking him for being the pillar of the family.
Kihika who aspiring to be the Nakuru governor described her darling as supportive, compassionate, and amazing.
“Happy Father’s Day to the man of my heart. One day is not enough to honor how special of a father you truly are because you’re amazing every day of the year.
“Thank you for all that you do. You are so full of compassion, love, and strength. When we need a strong hand of support in our family, you are always there. We love you for being who you are and for all that you do for us.” Kihika said.
On November 7, 2020, Kihika and her millionaire husband tied the knot in a colorful Kikuyu traditional ceremony in Nyahururu, Laikipia county.
The colorful ceremony was graced by Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential flag bearer William Ruto, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, and other UDA-allied politicians.
Susan is the mother of two beautiful daughters, Tiffany (23) and Ashley (20) which she got from a previous marriage before meeting Mburu.
