KANU party leader Gideon Moi said that he is committed to unity calls by the Mt Kenya Foundation (MKF) since he knows hi enemy (DP William Ruto).

Gideon said that William Ruto’s hustler nation politics aims at creating class wars among Kenyans.

On his part, Musalia Mudavadi dismissed Ruto’s ideology by saying that Kenyans need a thriving nation and not a hustling one.

“The position of authority should be given to an individual who will not misuse the office just because he wants to settle scores. Let us develop a culture of not voting in fear,” Musalia Mudavadi urged.

Additionally, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka dismissed Ruto’s style of empowering the Kenyan youths.

“What the youth need is hope. They should be told that there is life even in the conditions they find themselves in. Mt Kenya people do not believe in poverty, especially when one is still young,” Kalonzo said.

The discussions held by the Mount Kenya Foundation members have been centered around finding a suitable successor for retiring President Uhuru.

In all this process, there has been no mention of Deputy President William Ruto as a potential successor for Uhuru.

After meeting One Kenya Alliance, the businessmen said that they will retreat to Limuru, where they will come up with the name of the best presidential candidate to succeed Uhuru.
