Oparanya on why Raila Odinga is incomplete without Kalonzo Musyoka

by Enock Ndayala
Kalonzo Musyoka has sensationally claimed that Raila will be defeated in the August polls if he does not name him his running mate.

On Friday, June 2, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka shelved his presidential ambitions and rejoined Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya alliance party flag bearer Raila Odinga.

The former vice president who had initially declared his presidential bid said he decided to shelve his candidature after a series of consultations with the top brass members of the Wiper party and the larger Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya alliance party.

Kalonzo further said that his decision to return to Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya alliance was motivated by the prayers he undertook during the week-long break from active politics.

While congratulating him for returning to the ‘winning’ team, Kakamega Governor Wyclife Oparanya said Raila Odinga’s government will not be complete without former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka.

The ODM deputy party leader said Kalonzo was among the brains behind the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance party on whose Raila Odinga will be seeking the country’s top seat in the August 9, General Election.

“He contributed to the crafting of the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance because we share same political ideologies and vision for Kenyans,

“The Wiper party leader is among key leaders who will contribute to Raila-Karua victory in this year’s General Election,” Oparanya said in a Facebook post.

While rejoining Raila, announced that he is set to take up the Chief Cabinet Minister that was offered to him.

The former vice president who spoke from the Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka center, Kalonzo said he is set to take up the Chief Cabinet Minister that was offered to him.

“After wide consultations with the party leadership, clergy, and the professionals, I have decided to accept with humility and appreciation my nomination as the chief minister in the Azimio One Kenya coalition,” Kalonzo Musyoka said.
