Pastor advices William Ruto to pick a female running mate in 2022

by Enock Ndayala

Apostle Damaris Mumbi has advised Kenya’s Deputy President William Ruto to nominate a female running mate in the next years’ presidential elections.

In her ‘prophetic message’ posted on her Youtube, the apostle said that if William Ruto shall have a very smooth reign as president only if he has a female as the deputy president.

“The holy spirit told me that for William Ruto to rule (as president) in peace without any problems he needs a woman Deputy President,” she said.

Mumbi of Chariots Fire International Ministries in her prophecy warned the second in command of being sensitive when picking a female running mate.

The Chariots Fire International Ministries preacher further advised Ruto to be very considerate while picking the female running mate.

“And when I say that William Ruto should get a lady that would become his deputy president, it is not just any woman but he should be very careful and pick the right person,” she added.

She further warned that the spirit of God showed her the Kenyan flag where the red color had dominated the other colors signifying the 2022 General Election might turn bloody if urgent measures are not taken now.

The debate surrounding Ruto’s running mate has led to divisions among his foot soldiers especially those from the vote-rich Mt Kenya region.

Political bigwigs from Mt Kenya East (Meru, Embu, and Tharaka Nithi) and West (basically Agikuyu) are both scrambling to be William Ruto’s running mate.

Already, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria and The Service Party leader Mwangi Kiunjuri both from the GEMA community have offered themselves to be Ruto’s running mate.

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, an ardent defender of the deputy president said that Ruto should nominate a running mate from Mt Kenya region for him to get a slice of the vote-rich region in 2022.

Nyoro however said those eying to deputise Ruto in the 2022 presidential elections must work for it as Ruto will not just pick anyone

“We know (Ruto’s) running mate will come from the Mt Kenya region. The issues of positions will come but for now, we are refining our economic blueprint,” he said.
