Presidential aspirant George Wajackoyah has promised to use the proceeds from the sale of bhang to clear Kenya’s debt if he is elected during the August 9 General Election.

Wajackoyah who will be running on a Roots Party of Kenya ticket said his first task as president will be to legalize Marijuana.

“Our main job would be growing Marijuana and selling it to foreign consumers. This would generate a lot of money which would in return be used for the benefit of the country,” Wajackoyah said.

The presidential hopeful lashed out at Western countries accusing them of brainwashing Kenyans that bhang is harmful.

“We have been fooled by western and especially Christian notion that bhang is bad. However, they (the Europeans) are using the same drugs which they term harmful such us whiskey and even smoking bhang itself,” He added.

“It (bhang) is something that God created among his plants,” he said, adding that the advantages of marijuana outweigh the disadvantages.

The legalization of Marijuana is among the key agendas that the presidential hopeful unveiled on Saturday, February 13, aimed at upgrading the livelihood of Kenyans.

The presidential hopeful also said he will suspend the Constitution in the first six months to “allow Kenyans to decide on the kind of Constitution that they want”.

Further, the Roots Party leader pledged to dissolve the county governments and in their place to appoint 8 prime ministers who will be in charge of the former country’s eight provinces.

The Lawyer who is not new to controversy further pledged that his administration would introduce a death penalty to tame the appetite for corruption in the country.

The August 9 presidential hopeful also revealed that he will appoint himself as the immigration minister in his own government.
