ODM leader Raila Odinga has his eyes set on One Kenya Alliance after the collapse of the NASA coalition formed in 2017.

After parting ways with them on the NASA coalition, Raila Odinga continues to eye Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia  Mudavadi, and Moses Wetangula, wooing them to form a coalition for the 2022 elections.

Raila also eyes Gideon Moi (KANU) who is a member of One Kenya Alliance, as a prospect in the formation of a ‘Tsunami’ to take down DP Ruto in the 2022 Presidential race.

During the burial of Vihiga Deputy Governor’s wife on July 1, Raila Odinga revealed that he has his eyes set on One Kenya Alliance as part of his 2022 plans.

The ODM leader is meant to meet leaders from Western, Coast, Ukambani, North Eastern, Rift Valley, Mt Kenya and Rift Valley.

After holding talks with these leaders, he will set his focus on one Kenya Alliance.

“We pulled out of NASA, but that does not mean we will not work together. We will unite in the future,” Raila Odinga told mourners.

The NASA coalition fell apart after all the 4 co-principals, Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula separately agreed to part ways.

Having the majority members, ODM pledged to give its partners Ksh 153 Million out of the Political Party’s fund.

As Raila Odinga shows his determination to work with his former allies, Kalonzo Musyoka has already warmed up to the idea of giving the ODM leader a chance again.

But this time, Kalonzo aims to be the flag bearer, and have Odinga as his running mate.

“I welcome my big brother Odinga who I have supported immensely in his political career for more than a decade.

What I am saying is that there is no political debt, but I want him to use his wisdom and join me as my running mate and move this country forward,” Kalonzo Musyoka said on July 31.
