Before announcing his 2027 presidential bid, the famed lawyer said that he would not use his tribesmen to defend him or his policies on social media.

“When I am President, I will politely ask my Maa kinsmen not to be my most vocal and vitriol defenders in Parliament and on social media; it doesn’t help to build a fractured nation that way. Good thing their time is ticking fast,” he tweeted.

In his book, ‘Why Baba is not the 5th’, Kanchory has admitted that Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition presidential candidate in the 2022 elections Raila Odinga lost fairly to now President William Ruto.
