“I have not applied for Eala nor has any official communication come from the party,” she said in a Tweet.

She faulted the unnamed Cabinet Secretary Nominee for sponsoring fake news.

“Tell the incoming CS to focus on his work and stop sponsoring trends to bring down the girl,” she added.

The 32-year-old Raila’s daughter said she is currently focused on her family, community, and life after her father’s victory in the August 9, Presidential elections were snatched.

“I’m not bothering anyone, I’m focusing on my family, my community, and my life,” Winnie Odinga said.

Her statements were echoed by ODM’s Communication Director Philip Etale who stated that the party was yet to conduct any business with regard to the house.

“As far as I am concerned, nominations to EALA have not been done. Thanks,” Etale stated.

Winne who was in charge of Communications and Operations during Odinga’s campaign, once again blamed Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairman Wafula Chebukati for her father’s loss in the August 9, elections.

“When the devil wants to destroy you, he plants seeds of confusion to make you infight. Chebukati is to blame,” Winnie Odinga added.

In the run-up to the August 9, elections, Winnie Odinga recalled how difficult it was for her to secure an employment opportunity.

The political science graduate said that most employers were reluctant to hire her especially due to her family’s background.
