Raila termed Kenya kwanza government plans as ‘Hot Air’ saying that banning him from stepping foot in the United States of America was an act of cowardice

“I hear they want to bar me from visiting other countries because I am causing disquiet. I do not want to travel. I have always said we do not have a problem with other countries,” Raila said.

Raila who was accompanied by other Azimio luminaries including Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his Narc Kenya counterpart Martha Karua told Western countries not to listen to such calls and that they should first ask themselves if those making such calls are legitimately in power.

He said that Kenya does not have problems with other countries including its neighbors and warned the West against interfering with the country’s internal affairs.

“We are friends with European, American, Asia countries and even those in Africa. We are Kenyans and if we have problems, we have the responsibility of solving the issues ourselves. We do not want other countries to interfere with our internal affairs,” he stated.

The former Prime Minister maintained that he will not bow down and that President William Ruto has just 10 days to cede to his demands which include lowering the cost of living as well as amendments to the body tasked with reconstituting the IEBC team.
