Raila’s daughter tells man who asked for date to send fare

President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza administration on Wednesday, November 8, increased costs for key services under the Immigration Department.

ODM leader Raila’s daughter Winnie Odinga on Wednesday, March 9, left social media users in awe after conditonally accepting a request from a man who asked for a date with her.

The man identified as Muhammad Onyango while commenting on Winnie Odinga’s Twitter birthday post asked her to meet him at Kilimani for lunch.

Apart from lunch, Muhammad added that he had a birthday present for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s daughter in what seemed to be a tactical move aimed at enticing her to meet him.

ODM leader Raila’s daughter Winnie Odinga on Wednesday, March 9, left social media users in awe after accepting a request from a man who asked for a date with her.

“Kuja hapa Kilimani tukule lunch alafu niko na gift yako (Could you join me in Kilimani for lunch and for your gift as well),” Onyango said in the comment section.

Fortunately, despite the irony, Raila’s 32-year-old daughter accepted his request but on a condition that Onyango sends her bus fare for her to meet him.

“Tuma fare kwanza,” loosely translated to “Send fare first”.

However, Kivumbi.co.ke could not immediately establish whether the man sent the fare as he was requested and whether or not the two met.

These are just some of the requests that Winnie Odinga has been receiving from men who want to marry her saying they are confused by her beauty.

Two years ago, legendary singer and Ghetto Radio breakfast show host Julius Owino alias Maji Maji tried his luck.

While on air, Maji Maji teasingly expressed his intention to marry Raila’s daughter.

A random Twitter user, Sammy Gunga, tweeted to Raila Odinga expressing how he adored him and asked for her daughter’s hand in marriage.

“For the love I have for you Baba, please allow me to marry your daughter Winnie,” Gunga’s tweet read.

But in response, Winnie Odinga who was recently accused of micromanaging Raila’s campaigns vowed to get married in State House after her father wins the 2022 presidential election.

“Tell them that I said, Winnie Odinga will get married in 2022, on the lawns of State House, And you are all invited, so if you want that to happen, go register to vote,” Winnie Odinga told Mt Kenya youths.
