Ruto ally claims President Uhuru is forcing Kalonzo, Mudavadi to support Raila

Deputy President William Ruto ally and Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot has sensationally claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is coercing Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and ANC’s Musalia Mudavadi to support Raila Odinga in the 2022 presidential election.

In a social media post, Cheruiyot alleged that Uhuru is using resources at his disposal to have the two-party leaders support Raila Odinga.

In the cryptic message, Cheruiyot referred to President Uhuru as an oppressor, whose project is to impose Raila Odinga on One Kenya Alliance leaders.

“Kenyans must continue praying for Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi. The oppressor of the people of Kenya is using all that is at his disposal to have them support his project Raila,

” If you see them anywhere, play for them the tune….Eh baba unijaze roho(Oh God fill me with the spirit),” he wrote.

The Ruto allied Senator shared this after Raila Odinga graced the launch of Kalonzo Musyoka’s presidential bid on Thursday, November 25.

One Kenya Alliance leaders including Musalia Mudavadi(ANC) Gideon Moi (KANU) and Moses Wetangula(Ford Kenya) also attended the Wiper National Delegates Convention that saw Kalonzo crowned as the party’s presidential flagbearer ahead of the 2022 presidential election.

Raila’s attendance at the event had been termed as interference on matters of the One Kenya Alliance, sending a political message that he wants the co-principals to support his presidential bid.

Before the D-day, Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala protested Raila Odinga’s invitation to the event terming it as hijacking OKA affairs.

Malala threatened to mobilize ANC members to boycott the event since Kalonzo was showing signs of agreeing to form a pre-election pact with Odinga.

“We should be confident and courageous enough to tell our people that we are unable to hold together and the best thing to do is to part ways,

“We should then, each, look for friends elsewhere because we cannot send mixed signals to our people,” Malala told the Star Newspaper.
