Senator Karen Nyamu responds to claims she broke singer Samidoh’s marriage

On Thursday, February 23, photos of nominated Senator Karen Nyamu and Mugithi singer Samidoh laughing and sharing a private joke went viral.

The photos seem to hurt Samidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu who believed that the two had completely separated.

As such, Edday Nderitu accused the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) lawmaker of breaking her marriage. She had been married to the Mugithis Star for 15 years.

Edday penned a long note that by intruding into her 15-year marriage, the senator completely lacked morals.

She went ahead and declared that she had quit her marriage because it was embarrassing to raise her kids in a polygamous family, especially with a woman who is 10 years older than her.

“I will not raise my kids in a polygamous family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10yrs, has no morals and zero respect for my family ’kiura Kia ngaba’ as you put it,” Edday Nderitu went ballistic on hubby and Karen Nyamu.

“You have made me look dumb and taken my silence for granted. I have helped you nature your talent and supported you through it all. You have dragged and put me and my kids in an ocean of pain. May you remember this day,” she added in a long Facebook post.

In the comment section, a section of woman warned Karen Nyamu that she could be invoking a curse on herself.

“You’re so wicked Karen Nyamu. Unafurahia kuvunja ndoa ya mtu mwingine (you seem happy breaking another women’s marriage). You will pay for it one day,

“Remember, curses run in generations, so be careful when you make another woman cry. Your time is coming, so be ready to face the same situation. This is so disrespectful,” she commented.

However, the youthful legislator in a quick rejoinder dismissed breaking someone’s marriage adding that she was not the real evil woman.

“Hio ni ujinga yenu. Kwani mimi si mwanamke na watoto wangu si watoto? (That is your stupidity. Am I not a woman? Are my children not children?) The real evil woman is not me,” Karen Nyamu said.
