Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has urged the government of the day to fix the politics of the country as soon as possible.

The ODM lawmaker said failed promises by the government of the day led by resident William Ruto will no longer be of use as it will be too late.

“Next week contractors will demonstrate, nurses will demonstrate, doctors will demonstrate and all civil servants will also demonstrate then promise after promise will no longer gain traction even those who have taken a conscious sabbatical will come back to a destroyed economy!” he added.

The second-term lawmaker further stated that the Kenya Kwanza government has not shown seriousness in the expected bi-partisan talks over the issues raised by opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Ole Kina, a fierce critic of the First in Command urged Raila’s troops to prepare to go back to the streets should William Ruto’s team led by Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale fail to give in to their demands.

“The lack of seriousness of the bipartisan deliberation on the KK part is the straw that broke the camel’s back! We are back to the people,” he said.

However, Deputy President Rigathi Gachgua has vowed to deal with the protests noting that firmer action will be taken against those who destroy property.

“The government will not allow anybody to destroy property. If they return to the streets as they are threatening, they will not be able to step into the CBD and business centers such as Eastleigh,” he said.
