Singer Wilson Ouma Opondo aka Willy Paul has urged Kenyans to give the hip-hop star Juliani a break after former Machakos First Lady Lilian Nga’ng’a confirmed she is dating the Kenyan rapper.

On Friday, September 3, the former Machakos first lady shared a photo of herself hugging the rapper with a message to Kenyans confirming her love for the Utawala hitmaker.

“In this photo are two fully conscious adults who have chosen to be together. Any other narrative is false outdated and ill-intentioned. Let’s respect people’s choices. Love and let love,” read the statement which was signed off by the initials JL.

The statement came a day after the rapper raised said his life is in danger because of his relationship with Governor Alfred Mutua’s ex-wife.

The anonymous person who threatened Juliani through a call and text message accused him of stealing Lilian Ng’ang’a.

“How now can you “iba mtu” (steal someone)! An intelligent adult with a sound mind. The call/text threat on my life today, not funny! “ulinyang’anyana” (the snatch) narrative is false, tired, juicy headlines tu. Kindly stop! For the threats, usi aim face (do not aim the face with a gun), na (I) prefer niki (to) smile kwa (inside an) open casket. Baraka (blessings),” Juliani wrote.

Last month, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua announced that he was partying ways with Ng’ang’a adding that she will cease to become the Machakos County first lady.
