Tanzania President Samia Suluhu changes clothes thrice a day in Nairobi

Tanzania President, Samia Suluhu caught the attention of many as she donned three different dresses on the first day of her 2-day official visit to Kenya.

Attention was drawn to her fashion preferences, where she chose to done different outfits on three events held within the same day.

On her arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Suluhu was dressed in a beige outfit accompanied by a brown hijab over her head.

She was received by Foreign Affairs CS Rachael Omamo and her sports counterpart, Amina Mohammed.

Moments later, Suluhu was officially received by President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House.

However, the journey from JKIA to State House was long enough for the Tanzanian Head of state to take a fashion break and refresh.

Suluhu arrived in State House dressed in a brown outfit, accompanied by a light purple Hijab. This was different from the one she was wearing when she landed into the country.

She went about her business, holding bilateral talks with president Uhuru and top government officials.

Later in the evening, the hosts (President Uhuru and Margaret Kenyatta) gave Suluhu and her Tanzanian team a room to hold their iftar session in order to break their Ramadhan fast.

A few moments after their prayers, Uhuru and Margaret treated the Tanzanian visitors to a state dinner.

However, Samia took some time to freshen up again before attending the iftar and special dinner sessions.

A refreshing session wasn’t complete without a wardrobe make over for the Tanzanian queen. She once again changed into a black dress, grey floral coat and a plain grey hijab.

On her first day in Kenya, Suluhu was able to stay top on her fashion game as she changed clothes and matched them with different hijabs.

On her second day, she is set to address a joint parliamentary sitting.
