Okoth Vicky an artist from Kakamega County has expressed his desire to marry Raila Odinga’s 2022 presidential running mate Martha Karua.
In an interview with TV 47, Okoth affirmed his admiration for the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party running mate.
To show how serious the artist is, he has composed a song through which he proposed to the Narc-Kenya leader.
“Will you marry me Martha Karua?” part of the lyrics of his latest song says.
Okoth revealed that his efforts to meet the love of his life have been fruitless but he won’t lose hope as he is determined to ensure he meets Raila’s running mate.
In the song, Okoth alleges that the ODM leader has refused to share the contact of his running mate with him.
The artist who is 38 years old, vowed that he will be forced to walk from Kakamega to Kirinyaga to see Karua.
“Kama inawezekana naeza tembea kutoka Kakamega nikakutafute Karua. Nitatafuta fare had nipate” Okoth said.
The artist who is still single opines that he will only vote for the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential candidate for the sake of Martha Karua.
Okoth who is a long-term supporter of Martha Karua’s political journey pledged to campaign for the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential ticket until they win.
According to the artist his desire is for Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential running mate to contest for the presidency in the 2027 General Election.
“In 2027 when Martha becomes president, I will be the country’s first gentleman,” Okoth opined.
But listening to the love song, ODM member of county assembly aspirant for Kileleshwa ward Robert Alai doubted if the artist was sober.
