In a press statement on Tuesday, August 18, the National Assembly speaker said that he and the rest aim at a new style of politics that is neither chaotic nor divisive.

“We cannot change this country if we keep doing things the same way. That is why I am in this conversation with my friends Kibwana and Kituyi. We will expand this to be as inclusive as possible so that we can take this country forward,” said Justin Muturi.

The political underdogs will be holding meetings on how to make the National Alliance for Change a stronger political vehicle to rival the known players like United Democratic Alliance, Orange Democratic Movement, One Kenya Alliance as well as Jubilee party.

Justin Muturi’s talks with Kivutha Kibwana and Mukhisa Kituyi follow a similar engagement with Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua.

The duo discussed Justin Muturi’s presidential ambitions, with Muturi saying that Karua is a reliable pillar of national unity.

“This is part of many conversations that I’m holding with various leaders to elevate the agenda of national unity to the national platform,” he said.

On her part, Martha Karua promised to support Justin Muturi’s presidential ambitions.

“Go forward JB. You have my unreserved support in this journey. I will walk with you and rally the people to support you. I look forward to public meetings where I can come with you and ask the people to back you for the top job,” Martha Karua promised Muturi.
