Social media platforms have emerged to be every politician’s and celebrity’s preferred channel to communicate with their followers and/or supporters.

From platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, the leaders have found a way to address their fans directly without having to call for press conferences or write long press releases like it was a few years back.

It is in these platforms that they also get feedback from the very supporters to see how they are perceived or in politician’s lingo, test the ground.
