The Deputy President, who was on a 2-day campaign tour of Machakos county, gave the lady KSh 100,000 to help her solve her financial troubles.

Immediately after the 2022 presidential hopeful gave her the cash, thirsty crowds tried to forcefully get a share of the money from Mutua.

This prompted police officers to escort the mother of triplets to a lending agent to open an account and deposit the cash there to keep away the hungry crowds.

The deputy president has been getting numerous appeals for help during his campaigns across the country.

During his tour of Migori on November 11, a man was raised high on a wheelbarrow for the UDA leader to see him.

The man caught the attention of the Deputy President, who gave him cash and asked those lifting him to put him down.

“Weka huyu mtu chini Pole Pole (let him climb down from the wheelbarrow now) Oya boss shika hii(Take this)” William Ruto said as he took the time to appreciate the man with an unknown amount of cash amid laughter and cheers from the crowd.

In other rallies, William Ruto has been dishing out millions to specific groups in a bid to support them in their hustle.

However, these handouts have caused division among the UDA supporters, as some of it des not get to the rightful owners.
