William Ruto says he will offer Raila a free wheelbarrow ride to Bondo

Deputy President William Ruto has asked residents of the Ukambani area to help him send ODM leader Raila Odinga to his Bondo village for retirement in the August 9, General Election.

Ruto who was drumming up support for his presidential bid in Mwingi, Kitui County on Wednesday, March 30, said it was time for the old man to peacefully exit active politics.

While warning Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s turf from voting for the former prime minister, the deputy president said Raila does not have an agenda and that he has resorted to offering tibim and tialala.

“So, you really want to tell me that this guy who has been around for all this while with nothing to show for is the guy they want to impose on us at 80 years to rule us?” Ruto posed.

“I want you people of Kangundo to put him on a wheelbarrow and transport him back to Bondo,” William Ruto said.

The UDA presidential flag bearer further urged the former vice president to reconsider his decision to join the Azimio la Umoja coalition whose Raila Odinga is the defacto presidential aspirant.

“So I want to send you to Kalonzo. Tell him to stop being taken round in corners and cross over to Hustler nation,” Ruto said.

According to the deputy president, the wiper boss is not being accorded the respect he deserves in Azimio despite what he brings to the table in terms of political influence; as such he should decamp to a political outfit that will grant him respect worthy of a former vice-president.

He said ODM leader and Azimio la Umoja presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga has taken Kalonzo in circles for far too long.

“They have taken him in circles until recently Kalonzo himself confessed that he doesn’t know what he signed,” William Ruto said.
