On Monday, June 27, United Democratic Alliance (UDA) presidential flag bearer William Ruto signed a Youth Charter at the Nyayo Stadium ahead of his manifesto launch slated for Thursday, June 30.

The Kenya Kwanza presidential aspirant wowed fans by rocking a stylish outfit during his engagement with the youths who laid bare their grievances.

Dressed in a pair of blue jeans and long sleeve T-shirt with green and yellow strips, the 2022 presidential election front runner completed his youthful look with a Green/yellow pair of Nike Dunk low Brazil sneakers.

Available information online shops shows the sneakers that William Ruto had donned go for USD 409 (Approximately KSh 48,000).

They were first released in 1985 but the 2020 remake stays true to the OG’s design which comes in three different colors including white/black, Navy/red and Green /yellow.

The South American inspired fashionable shoe features a yellow leather upper with green overlays and white laces.

To complete its attractive look is a white midsole and a green outsole.

In October 2021, Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition flag bearer Raila Odinga was captured doning KSh 419,000 off-white Nike Air Force One sneakers.

While his followers wondered where William Ruto;s main challenger bought the shoes, Raila took to social media to reveal that the shoes were brought to him by two young men called Ali and Hillary.
