William Ruto’s bodyguard survives hard fall from a moving car

Deputy President William Ruto’s bodyguard survived an accident after falling off a moving car during the Kenya Kwanza campaign trail.

In a scary video that surfaced online, on Monday, May 16, the member of DP Ruto’s security detail closed his grip and fell near Kobil Ongata Rongai in Kajiado County.

In the video, the first moving car over sped but it seemed like the bodyguard who is attached to the deputy president William Ruto did hold on to the body of the car well as he fell from it.

Surprising the car did not stop as it sped off but the bodyguard was taken by another car that was just behind.

From the clip, the bodyguard was lucky because the other vehicles in the convoy were not close to each other.

The accident members of the public who on the roadside in shock as many could hear murmuring in panic.

The deputy president was leading his first public rally after unveiling the Mathira MP Rigathi Gacagua as his presidential running mate ahead of the August polls.

DP Ruto together with his running mate will face off with the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition candidate Raila Odinga who yesterday unveiled Martha Karua as his running mate.

Speaking at various stopovers in Kajiado, DP Ruto’s running mate expressed confidence that the Kenya Kwanza team will scope the majority of the over 5,000,000 votes from Mt Kenya.

Gacagua opined that the fact that President Uhuru Kenyatta failed in his attempt to campaign for Raila Odinga in the region means the region has already made up its mind to vote for DP Ruto.

“Our president who we love tried to take us to Raila and we refused. Raila has now taken a woman from Kirinyaga to take you to his camp. Will that be possible?

“This woman who has now been sent by him when she comes here, will you tell her that you already made up your mind? Will you tell her, that if Uhuru who is the sitting president failed to take us there, will she?” Gacagua posed.
