Deputy President William Ruto’s close allies visited President Uhuru Kenyatta’s ally, Sabina Chege at Nairobi Hospital where she is receiving treatment.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi on Thursday, February 25, in the company of other leaders, visited the ailing Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege at the hospital to wish her well.

The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen also visited the Murang’a Woman rep.

The leaders expressed their kind messages to the female MP wishing her a quick recovery.

“Paid a visit to my friend and colleague Sabina Chege while recuperating at Nairobi Hospital. I wish her a speedy recovery,” Sudi wrote on his Facebook page after the visit.

“Glad to see you are getting stronger. Wishing you a speedy recovery my friend. God bless,” Murkomen said after sharing the images of the visit.

The Murang’a lawmaker took to Twitter to acknowledge the visit the deputy president allies saying she appreciates their prayers.

“Asanteni sana Mwenda Kananu, Kipchumba Murkomen, and Jude Jomo for paying me a visit, your best wishes, and prayer! Good night my people and God bless you all,”

Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege has been in hospital, receiving treatment for an undisclosed medical condition over the past few days.

According to Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo, Sabina Chege was admitted to the hospital on February 16, 2022.

The Revelations of Chege’s admission at a hospital were made after the vocal legislator failed to appear before the electoral Code of Conduct Enforcement Committee of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Tuesday, February 22.

“The doctor addressed this letter at our request to confirm that the respondent is indisposed. She was admitted and is currently undergoing treatment,

“In those circumstances, the respondent was not able to be with us. We did not get that letter to be addressed any earlier because being indisposed is not predictable as to when she would be in a position to be discharged or to attend,” Otiende who is representing Sabina Chege said.
