“Yet, Raila Odinga is enjoying salary, state appointment, and outriders and (presidential privileges) through the backdoor,” Muthama wrote

The former Machakos senator urged the Head of State and Raila Odinga to facilitate Miguna Miguna’s return to the country on November 16.

“I appeal to Raila & his brother to simply allow him back home. Politics should not allow us to deprive others of their rights & livelihood. Meanwhile, Hustler nation welcomes him back home with both hands,” Muthama added.

On his part, Miguna Miguna has declared that he is set to make his 3rd attempt to travel back to his homeland.

On October 20, former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga announced that he will head to Canada to accompany the lawyer in his return journey.

“I have decided to undertake this journey to support and defend the independence of our judiciary, its authority, and the people’s confidence in it,” Mutunga announced.

He urged the government to lift the red alerts imposed on Miguna Miguna.

“Ideally, he should be able to enter and leave the country as he pleases but that is not the case. I demand that the government comply fully with the orders, including the prompt payment of all awards, costs, and accruing interest. Justice demands no less,” he said.

Other than the former Chief Justice, LSK President Nelson Havi has also announced plans to accompany Miguna back home.

Miguna Miguna has asked his supporters to come out in numbers to welcome him at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport.
