While likening the Western nation’s alleged interference in Kenya’s presidential elections to a person playing a virtual reality game, Raila’s daughter said she has evidence of how the USA meddled in Kenya’s elections.

“Have you ever won virtual reality glasses? That is what Kenya is to them. You put it on and you play. Kenya is like a PlayStation to them,” she said.

She further dismissed sections of media reports that she was the one who sabotaged Raila’s fifth presidential attempt.

A section of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leaders had earlier claimed that Winnie Odinga micromanaged Azimio’a presidential candidate Raila Odinga‘s communication team.

Raila’s daughter instead said that she was one of the few persons who worked hard to ensure her father succeeds Rtd President Uhuru Kenyatta.

She said she never slept for the last year prior to the August 9, presidential elections and that those fuelling the rumors that she micromanaged Raila’s communication team were distractors sent to destroy her father from within.

“This is my father and I don’t think anyone worked harder on that campaign than me except him. People were there for their own agendas; they were there to sabotage us and do all sorts of things but I prepared him as best as I could for him to succeed,” Winnie said.
