Youngest Woman Rep Toto engaged on Valentine’s Day

by Enock Ndayala

Kenya’s youngest Woman Rep Linet Chepkorir commonly known as Toto is officially off the market.

This was after the 24-year-old Bomet Woman Rep took to social media and shared photos of her engagement to a man who has since been identified as Godfrey Kimutai.

In one of the photos, Toto’s fiancé is seen proposing to her as the world marked Valentine’s Day which is usually celebrated on the 14th of every February.

In the photos taken in a love-themed room, Tanui is seen on a bended knee as Linet looked on, perhaps mesmerized by the gesture.

In the background is a décor of flowers in a heart shape and the words “Will you marry me?” can be seen in part.

In a statement, Toto who has kept his love life private since clinching the Bomet Woman Rep set in the 2022 General Election showered Kimutai with praises saying that he was one in a million.

“And I finally said yes. You are one in a million. May God be with us on this journey. Happy valentine’s day sweetheart, I love you,” she said.

Emmanuel Lemiso, a family friend, confirmed that Toto got engaged to Godfrey Kimutai in a private ceremony at Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi.

Lemiso added that the two have been in a relationship for a while.

“The ceremony was private, and she said yes. The two have been in a relationship for a while and this culminated in the engagement,” Lemiso intimated.

Her engagement comes just a few months after Mumias East MP Peter Salasya had expressed interest in marrying the youngest Woman Rep Linet Toto.
