There was a fracas today at the KMTC Teso campus when a man attending the ODM leader Raila Odinga’s rally attacked a police officer.

The chaos began when Malaba OCS George Ouga blocked a man whose identity is still unknown from entering the venue of Raila’s event.

The Star-News Paper reported that the enraged man attacked the OCS but would, later on, be arrested and taken to Malaba police station.

Even though the OCS was not injured, it is reported that he lost his phone during the fracas.

The ODM leader arrived after calm had been restored and continued with his program where he laid the foundation for the construction of dormitories at KMTC Kocholya.

The chaos at Raila’s event come a day after two journalists were roughed up by a group of goons during a meeting convened by Raila Odinga at his party’s national headquarters, Chungwa House.

Such violence being witnessed in the former premiers’ event, made the Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria to wondered what he termed as ‘Raila’s goons’ would do if the ODM leader become the president after the August 9, presidential election.

“The attack on journalists by ‘Azimio goons’ at Orange House further confirms something that I told a friend who was moving to Azimio (la Umoja),

“Even if you are Raila’s running mate you can be roughed up by his barbaric goons right in front of him and he will do nothing,” Moses Kuria said while commenting on the attack of journalists at Chungwa house.

“Later Makau Mutua will issue a statement promising to investigate. Can you imagine if he was President already ?” Kuria wrote on Facebook.
