Boniface Mwangi, a Kenyan activist has thrown some shade on ODM leader Raila Odinga, accusing him of being a desperado.
The activist, accused persons close to the ODM leader of misadvising him.
“Is Raila Odinga this desperate to become president? Is he going to work with thieves so that he can win the elections? Whoever is advising Raila should be fired,” Boniface Mwangi wrote in a Facebook post.
He said that the current actions by Raila Odinga have been influenced by the handshake between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Congratulations President Uhuru, you have made Raila say and do stupid things. Now release him from your curse. Raila Odinga should fire his communications team. Hire professionals who will give him value for money on branding and messaging.”
Boniface Mwangi made these accusations after learning of reports that the ODM leader is considering having a coalition agreement with KANU’s Gideon Moi.
“He should also associate himself with people who haven’t looted this country. Right now he says things that make Kenyans think he has lost his mind!” Boniface Mwangi noted.
With the collapse of the NASA coalition, Raila Odinga is said to be at crossroads on his next political step.
In two separate events, Raila Odinga has told William Ruto to prepare for a political Tsunami coming his way in 2022.
Raila has implied that he is not going into the 2022 presidential race alone, but with a strong outfit to beat DP William Ruto.
The ODM leader is said to be eyeing a coalition with KANU Party leader Gideon Moi.
Other than Gideon Moi, Alfred Mutua(MCC), Charity Ngilu(Narc), Kalonzo Musyoka(Wiper) have also been identified as prospects in the planned coalition.
Even though Jubilee Party halted its coalition talks with ODM, it is still in its 2022 presidential cards.
Odinga may be walking into the 2022 presidential race with Jubilee Party on his side.
