Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential flag bearer William Ruto will be a happy man as one of his staunch supporters has decided to surprise him with a sculpture.

Speaking to K24 TV on Saturday, May 21, Silas Wanjeru, said the good work being done by Deputy President William Ruto motivated him to make the sculpture.

“I started this job four years ago, and I have gained fame over time. I am impressed by Deputy President William Ruto because of his hard work. We expect him to unite us as president if elected in the August 9 General Election.” Wanjeru said.

The 36-year-old artist who hails from Tumsifu in Bahati constituency, Nakuru County said that the heavy rainfall will not deter his plan to deliver the present which he is transporting on a wheelbarrow, a symbol associated with DP Ruto’s UDA party.

“As an artist, I want to appreciate William Ruto with this sculpture. I plan to carry it to Nairobi on a wheelbarrow to deliver it to the deputy president in Karen. I pray that he will gladly receive it wholeheartedly,” Wanjeru started.

The artist revealed that the sculpture was made from quality materials, making it waterproof and serving the Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential flag bearer for many years.

This is not the first time, Wanjeru is making a sculpture for a presidential candidate, in 2019 he made headlines when he made a model of President Uhuru Kenyatta and traveled to Harambee House to hand it over.

The Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential flag-bearer seems to have gifted supporters, in 2022, he again received a Rhino carving and sculpture of Mzee Ndolo from a self-help group.

“God bless the imaginative work of your hands.” The Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential flag bearer said after receiving the rhino carving.
