Presidential candidate George Wajackoyah’s presidential bid is increasingly becoming popular among Kenyan youths, especially with his strange manifesto.
Among the popular pledges made by the 2022 presidential candidate is the promise to legalize marijuana if he secures victory in the August polls.
Wajackoyah has also promised 4 days of working, where weekends will be beginning on Thursday evening.
To ensure that his presidential campaign messages reach many Kenyans, Wajackoyah has appointed content creator Wilson Muraini popularly known as Jaymo Ule Msee as the party’s spokesperson and Head of Media.
In a press release on Sunday, June 12, Wajackoyah whipped praise on the comedian saying he has vast experience in digital marketing and political campaign.
“Roots Party of Kenya has today appointed Wilson Muraini Gathoni also known as Jaymo Ule Mzee as the official party spokesman and head of media,
“He has vast experience in media, digital marketing, and presidential campaign strategy and he also holds a degree in political science and economics from the University of Nairobi,” Wajakoyah said in the statement.
While accepting the appointment, the comedian pledged to serve the party well to ensure Wajackoyah emerges victorious in the August poll.
“I truly thank George Wajackoyah, our running mate Justina Wamae, and our party officials for having faith in me to serve in our party to ensure we get a resounding victory on the 9th of August. It’s time for our generation to make the right choices,” Jemo wrote on Instagram.
Some people have claimed that Wajackoyah might necessitate a presidential runoff and a if his rising popularity can translate into votes.
