ODM MP admits Raila lost 2022 presidential election

by Enock Ndayala

ODM Party leader Raila Odinga is on record insisting that he floored William Ruto in the hotly contested 2022 presidential election.

Raila unsuccessfully went ahead and filed a petition at the Supreme Court claiming that his 2022 presidential victory was overturned in favor of his competitor William Ruto.

However, Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi has made it clear that Raila Odinga lost the presidency to William Ruto free and fair.

In a documentary titled ‘The Game of Might and Mind’ by Evans Sikolia, Amisi who was elected on an ODM ticket said that William Ruto defeated the former prime minister because the former had the money, the deep state, and the energy.

“William Ruto simply had the money, the deep state, and the energy. You can’t defeat such a candidate,” Amisi said.

He further dismissed the notion that Raila had government machinery on his side adding that retired President Uhuru Kenyatta gave Azimio the leader false hope leading to his loss in the 2022 presidential election.

“…Uhuru (Kenyatta) was not honest enough to tell Baba (Raila Odinga) that this thing (Presidency) is gone,” he said.

Amisi stated that the ‘Deep State’ that Raila believed had, had been taken away by the then Deputy President William Ruto.

The youthful legislator said that Raila had a ‘False Deep State’ and that his main competitor William Ruto had the real ‘Deep State’.

“The deep state had been taken by William Ruto a long time ago; the deep state that was with the handshake was just a shell of a deep state. The real deep had gone,” he stated.

Similar claims were earlier raised by Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly Robert Allai who sensationally claimed that the then outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta and Narc Kenya Party leader Martha Karua were working with Kenya Kwanza and that their aim was to ensure Raila loses the presidency to William Ruto.
