List of 30 new ambassadors appointed in President Ruto’s first Cabinet reshuffle

The High Court on Friday, January 26, blocked President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government from deploying police officers to fight gangs in Haiti.

President William Ruto finally bored to pressure from government critics to effect changes in his Cabinet.

The Head of State on Wednesday, October 4, also made changes to Principal Secretaries and also sanctioned changes among the ambassadors.

He said the changes were necessary to “optimize performance and enhance delivery as set out in the administration’s manifesto” as well as enhance service delivery.

“In accordance with Article 132 (2) (e) of the constitution, His Excellency the President has nominated and redeployed the following ambassadors and high commissioners,” communiqué by the presidential action reads in part.

In what appeared that the First in Command has not rewarded his loyalists for the first time, no famous name featured on the list of the new ambassadors.
