Miguna: Kenyans must reject Kenyatta family and their project Raila Odinga

Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has blasted Mama Ngina Kenyatta for endorsing the ODM leader Raila Odinga ahead of the August 9 elections.

Lawyer Miguna Miguna has blasted President Uhuru’s mother, Mama Ngina Kenyatta, for endorsing the ODM leader Raila Odinga ahead of the August presidential elections.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, March 23, Miguna castigated the president’s mother for referring to Kenyans as ‘insects’.

He called on Kenyans to reject the former prime minister come August saying he is being fronted by the family that has ‘looted’ Kenya since independence.

“Despot Uhuru Kenyatta’s ‘looting’ mother, Ngina Muhoho Kenyatta, has contemptuously referred to Kenyans as insects. Kenyans must reject the ‘looting’ Kenyatta family and the project, ‘conman’, Raila Odinga,” Miguna wrote on Twitter.

“We are not insects under the Kenyatta tree,” Miguna added.

Miguna’s sentiments come after Mama Ngina appealed to the Mt Kenya region to back Raila Odinga for the presidency as directed by his son President Uhuru.

Speaking yesterday, during a burial in Gatundu South, Mama Ngina said President Uhuru means well for the community(Mt Kenya).

“Let us love each other, this is our country, let us drive things forward. There is no way your leader can mislead you. Let me tell you, you must know that the person who is sitting under a tree is the one who knows what the insects around there are eating,” Mama Ngina said.

“He (President Uhuru) didn’t have a problem (with William Ruto), but if your deputy shows you disrespect, would you really stick there? You will move on,” she added.

This is the first time that President Uhuru’s mother is publicly supporting Raila’s presidential bid ahead of the August 9 presidential election in which he is set to face William Ruto.

Mama Ngina’s comments on Raila Odinga’s presidential bid have attracted a lot of criticism of the Kenya Kwanza-leaning leaders.
