Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has warned ladies against cosmetic surgeries to make their figures appealing.
In a statement on his social media pages, Sonko, who was locked out of the Mombasa gubernatorial race in the August 9, elections, instead advised women to be contented with their God-given figure.
“Tafadhalini ridhikeni na maumbile muliyopewa na Maulana wacheni kufanya ukarabati wa vinyambio vyenu. Alamsiki (Please be content with your God-given bodies. Do not alter the size of your bum),” Sonko said in a Tweet.
This was after the Kenyan socialite claimed that she had undergone a BBL reversal surgery after developing complications.
While commenting on a ‘before and after photo of Vera Sidika, the former Nairobi boss pitied the socialite, saying she almost lost her life.
“Huyu Vera Sidika maskini karibu akufe,” Sonko added.
The mother of one left the internet on pause when she dropped photos showing her new transformation after undergoing booty reduction surgery.
The 33-year-old social media influencer advised young girls not to allow peer pressure to plunge them into activities that could ruin their future.
“Ladies; please learn to love yourself and don’t ever let peer pressure rush you into things that will ruin you in the future. I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much. Honestly, it’s been pretty hard, I didn’t even celebrate my birthday this year, but here we are,” Sidika said in an Instagram post.
Vera Sidika’s husband Brown Mauzo in response said he was contented with her wife’s new physique after her surgery.
The singer added that although he misses his wife’s previous killer figure, he treasures her personality.
“I miss your killer figure so much but what I love and treasure is your personality and pure heart. I will love you more just the way you are,” he wrote.
