Tiren who hails from Uasin Gishu County added that it’s his prayer that the Deputy President wins the August 9 presidential election.

He urged Moiben residents to elect him back to parliament to finish his projects.

“I am not interested in the presidency. Please give me chance to continue being your MP so that we work together,” Tiren said.

The MP however did not state whether he will join United Democratic Alliance as being advocated by Ruto or not.

During Ruto’s mega rally in Eldoret, last Saturday, January 8 allies told called upon Rift Valley residents to voter out leaders opposed to the DP’s presidential bid.

Other leaders that are under pressure to support Ruto include Kesses MP Swarup Mishra, Cheranganyi MP Joshua Kuttuny, and Nandi Hill MP Alfred Keter.

The targeted leaders have since the 2017 general election openly differed with William Ruto on a number of issues.

The Deputy President himself has been calling for voters to elect leaders UDA tickets on all seats.
