The politician who sat his exam at the Turbo Sub-County Private Center, scored a D + (plus), official results posted at the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) portal showed.

In a statement on his social media pages, Kaseuseu, who was elected to President William Ruto‘s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party said he was “proud of his results” and announced his intentions to continue pursuing his academic aspirations.

“I am very proud of myself. This journey I will walk slowly until I own a degree. No matter what. Congratulations to me,” the lawmaker said.

In what appeared that the West Pokot politician had predicted that he would not get better results, the lawmaker had earlier taken to social media stating that people who got Ds are the majority in the country.

According to the results announced yesterday, a total of 201, 133 candidates achieved the minimum university entry grade.

“The new reforms measure will allow a large number of students to pursue courses of their choice at the universities, Diploma and TVET training at Certificate and Artisan levels,” Machogu stated.
