“Bill ya chai na samosa” CS Murkomen hits back at senator Cheruiyot

by Enock Ndayala

Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot on Monday, September 4, took to social media claiming that Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen fled without clearing the bill.

This was after Arsenal bounced back from behind to bag all three points against their arch-rival Manchester United in an epic Premier League game played on Sunday, September 3.

Cheruiyot narrated that he jumped from his seat to celebrate two winning goals by Gabriel Jesus and Declan Rice, but when he cooled down, CS Murkomen had silently left the joint.

“Has anybody seen Kipchumba Murkomen.? He left me with a huge bill after Declan and Gabriel did their thing. Jumped up to celebrate, only to find an empty chair and the waiter with the bill,” Cheruiyot claimed.

However, in a quick rejoinder, former Elgeyo Marakwet senator Kipchumba Murkomen fired back at the Kericho senator for exposing him.

Murkomen, a die-hard supporter of the Red Devils asked Cheruiyot to keep quiet and focus on the 2023 Africa Climate Summit being held in Nairobi.

Without denying it, the Roads Cabinet Secretary further said that the bill was not huge and that he could just clear it.

“The country is focusing on #ACS2023, and you are polluting the environment with lots of noise? Na ukuwe serious Bwana bill ya chai na samosa ni kitu ya kutangazia Watu?” Murkomen asked.

Murkomen however thanks Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga for clearing the bill adding that Arsenal fans were all the same regardless of their political affiliations.

“Arsenal fans are all the same regardless of their party affiliations,” he added.
