Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has criticized a section of Kenyans who study and work abroad.

Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has advised school-going girls who think they are too beautiful not to get lost in promiscuity.

Sudi, who was giving a talk to students of Songolet Secondary school, said most of the girls who are considered beautiful rarely succeed in their lives.

The lawmaker, who is a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto said the majority of his schoolmates who thought they were good-looking got lost along the way.

“Kuna wenye walikuwa warembo sana lakini kwa sababu wanafikiria ni warembo wanakuwa na wapenzi kadhaa na hivyo wakapotelea hapa katikati (There are those who were very beautiful but because they think they are beautiful they have several lovers and so they got lost here in the middle),” Sudi said.

The outspoken legislator said girls who are considered ugly have higher chances of succeeding in life and settling down with their spouses.

“Wasichana wengi tulisoma nao wenye walikuwa warembo hawana maisha, wale walikuwa sura mbaya ndio wako na manyumba (Most of the girls we studied with who were beautiful have no life, those who were ugly are the ones who are happily married,” Sudi said.

Sudi who was at the school to issue a school bus, sparked a conversation on social media after being spotted wearing a full school uniform.

Photos from the function show him interacting with students in a green cardigan, a tie, and grey trousers.

This saw netizens making fun of the legislator who had previously been accused of forging his academic documents before being cleared by IEBC in May.

“Finally, Oscar has gone back to school. The overrated Sakaja should follow the suit” one of the social media users said.
