Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has joined other leaders affiliated to the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition in hitting out at the Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka over his demands for being Raila Odinga’s presidential running mate.

“Stop your senseless demands! Show us the votes…. Progressive Kenyans will not listen to you … sisi twasonga Mbele (we are moving forward)…,” Ole Kina wrote on Twitter.

Ole Kina joins COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli who over the weekend blasted Kalonzo for wasting time issuing demands rather than going out to campaign for the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition.

According to the vibrant unionist, Kalonzo’s demands can make one doubt his commitment to the coalition.

“I know Kalonzo as an important figure in the coalition and he should focus on building confidence and make people vote for the coalition. Too many conditions will make someone who was to give him deputy president position think twice,” Atwoli said.

Sentiments by the COTU boss come after Kalonzo Musyoka and his allies insisted the Wiper leader must be named Raila Odinga’s running mate in the forthcoming polls.

Among the latest demands, the Wiper leader dismissed a team of technocrats selected by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga, and himself to help in identifying a suitable running mate for the ODM leader.

According to Kalonzo, discussion on the running mate position will only involve him, President Kenyatta, and Azimio presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga.

“What will happen is that there will be talks between [Raila Odinga] myself and President Kenyatta,

“That is how we formed the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition so take it to the bank that I am in the decision-making team,”  Musyoka said on Sunday April 17.
