by Enock Ndayala

Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has heaped praise at ODM leader Raila Odinga saying he is the only worthy presidential candidate and one who shall steer Kenya in the right direction if given a chance.

Ledama who was last month sued by a woman demanding KSh 200k child upkeep said the former Prime Minister understands Kenya more than any other presidential contenders.

While pleading with Kenyans to rally behind President Uhuru Kenyatta’s handshake partner, Ole Kina said Raila has made extraordinary sacrifices for this country and that given a chance he will take the presidency seriously.

Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has praised ODM leader Raila Odinga saying he is the only serious presidential candidate ahead of the 2022 elections.

“Raila Odinga understands Kenya more than any other candidate for the presidency! He has made extraordinary sacrifices for this nation,

“He will take the job seriously. This is why I support him and with humility I ask you to support him,” Senator Ledama said in a Tweet.

On Friday, December 10, the ODM leader confirmed that he will throw his hat in the ring for next year’s presidential showdown, in what has shaped the contest into a two-horse race between Raila and Deputy President William Ruto.

With barely 8 months to the 2022 duel, Raila’s statehouse bid appears to be gaining more support as political bigwigs align themselves around the opposition chief.

Already, Raila has received the support of the Mt Kenya Foundation, a group that played a big role in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election bid in the 2017 General Election.

Already a host of second-term governors have since thrown their weight behind the ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Yesterday, West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo, his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi and Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi have declared their support for Raila.

Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa’s party Democratic Action Party-Kenya (DAP-Kenya) that was officially launched on Tuesday, December 14, said it will support Raila Oding’a Azimio La Umoja Movement.
