Miguna says Ruto has performed so well on USA tour unlike Raila

by Enock Ndayala

Canada-based lawyer Miguna Miguna has heaped Deputy President William Ruto with praises saying he has performed so well on his United States of America (USA) tour.

Unlike the ODM leader Raila Odinga, the controversial lawyer said Ruto made his speeches more eloquent without even making reference.

The former advisor to Raila said his then-boss could not fluently read the speeches that had been well-written for him in 2006 and 2010 when he accompanied him to the US.

“William Ruto’s speeches in the United States of America have been eloquent and significant. When I accompanied Raila Odinga there in 2006 and 2010 and despite well-written speeches, speaking notes, and comprehensive preparations, Raila blubbered like a drunken toad,

“Let the fake toad of Buffalo now organize a gig in the USA for the incoherent conman after assisting him to con Kalonzo Musyoka,” Miguna said in a Tweet on Friday, March 4.

On Thursday, March 3, the deputy president held a closed-door meeting with US National Security Council as part of his broader tour of the United States.

Ruto’s Director of communications Hussein Mohamed said the DP discussed issues of strategic partnership between the US and Kenya.

“Ruto and former Vice President Musalia Mudavadi led a delegation that was hosted at the White House in a closed-door meeting where issues of strategic partnership between US and Kenya were discussed,” he said in a statement on Twitter.

This comes barely two weeks Miguna heaped praises on ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi’s spokesperson Kibisu Kabatesi for a perfect ‘earthquake’ speech.

Taking to his social media pages shortly after Mudavadi officially pledged to work with Deputy President William Ruto, Miguna said Mudavadi’s speech was well written.

“To Kibisu Kabatesi: I take off my hat for you. It was a well-written speech,” Miguna Miguna said in reference to Mudavadi’s rousing speech at Bomas of Kenya.
