The governor’s Chinese wife who spoke at a recent funeral service in Kisii county said those eying her husband are free to present their requests.

Kwamboka, known for her fluent Kisii dialect however warned those wishing to be Simba Arati’s second or third wife not to chase her away before they are confirmed.

The Asian wife said she was the one in charge and that she had to be there to welcome her new co-wives.

“Those who want to come and become a second or third wife, come, I welcome you. You do not need to remove me before you come because I have to be the one who will welcome you,” she said.

Kwamboka further told off critics who have been calling for her deportation to Kisii stating that she will only go back to her mother country adding that only Arati could take her back to China.

Earlier, the Kisii governor raised similar allegations saying that a section of Kisii people were not comfortable with her wife’s presence, especially at the county offices.

The county boss who was appearing in one of the morning TV shows said her wife was not helping him co-run the county activities.

Instead, he said, she only complements him as his better half and often serves him lunch in the office.

“Those asking why she brings me food to the office, what is your concern, are you planning to do something fishy to me?” Arati posed.

Kivumbi.co.ke understands that the Asian played a crucial role in ensuring that the former Dagoreti North Member of Parliament won the Kisii gubernatorial seat.
