Ex-Mombasa governor Hassan Joho goes back to school

Hassan Joho has been missing in political action since he left office in August 2022 after serving his two-term limits under the Kenyan Constitution.

The former Mombasa Governor on Tuesday, January 23, shared several establishment photos of the Havard Kennedy School of Government, a school of public policy and government located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

In one of the photos shared on his X platform, the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party member was captured inside a class at a prestigious university in the USA.

In this photo, Joho was captured standing at the back of an engraved desk and also wearing what appears to be a Havard school tag.

In another photo, the Azimio stalwart, separate photos showed the politician posing with the school’s other students, a flag of the School of Arts and Sciences as well as the statue of the University’s founder John Harvard.

The Kennedy School of Government is specifically ranked third worldwide for its public affairs programs and top in health policy and management by the US News and World Report.

Hassan Joho has been missing in political action since he left office in August 2022 after serving his two-term limits under the Kenyan Constitution.

He has been battling claims on the authenticity of his academic qualifications with several court cases being brought against him since his election as the Governor of Mombasa County.

But Joho has all along stood his ground saying that he has two genuine degrees, one from Kampala International University in Uganda and another from Gretsa University.

The former Mombasa governor holds a Bachelor of Commerce and specializes in human resource management, a course he reportedly studied through distance learning in 2014.
