Rapper Khaligraph Jones gives conditions for supporting Jimmy Wanjigi in 2022

Rapper Khaligraph Jones has challenged presidential aspirant Jimmy Wanjigi to support Kenyan artists first in order to win their support as he seeks to vie for the presidency in the 2022 General Election.

While responding to the ‘Fagia Wote’ campaign by comedian Eric Omondi, Khaligraph Jones noted that the businessman should share some of his wealth with the youths by first donating 10 acres of land in the posh Karen estate.

According to the rapper, the piece of land will act as an assurance that Jimmy Wanjigi really cares about the youths in the country.

“Ambia Jimmy Akatie Wasanii Kiwanja Pale Karen 10 acres. Creatives waanzishe Sacco Wajenge residential apartments as security alafu we will think about it (supporting him),

(Tell Jimmy Wajigi to give 10 acres of his land in Karen to creatives so they start a Sacco and build residential apartments. This will act as security for our support for him. If he does so, we will think about supporting him,” Rapper Khaligraph Jones wrote on Instagram.

The statement from Khaligraph comes at a time Eric Omondi has hit headlines for endorsing Jimmy Wanjigi for the presidency in 2022, calling upon the youth to bark the billionaire businessman.

Some have however criticised the comedian because while he advocates for youth leadership, Jimmy Wanjigi is 59-years-old.

In the Fagia Wote (sweep them aside) campaign, Eric Omondi seeks to rally the youth behind Jimmy Wanjigi’s presidential bid while asking them not to support any politician who has been in leadership for the past 20 or so years like Raila Odinga, William Ruto, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, etc.

Interestingly, the message seems to directly hit Jimmy’s party leader in ODM, Raila Odinga with whom they are set to battle out for the party’s presidential ticket.

Some ODM members like Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris are not impressed by Eric Omndi’s message in the campaign in support of Wanjigi.

The other day I saw some little comedian here talking about Fagia Wote (sweep them aside), what has he ever done other than to make us laugh?” Esther Passaris possed.

She went on to list the sacrifices Raila has taken for the sake of the country and as such deserves more respect.

On Thursday, September 10, Eric Omondi was given a brand new Chrysler crossfire sports car by Jimmy Wanjigi to use in campaigning for him countrywide.

“You are doing a wonderful thing selling this dream to the entire nation it is a must we ‘Fagia wote’. This car is for spreading that message, you take it to the entire nation,” Jimmy Wanjigi said as he granted the comedian keys to the new ride.
