Singer Akothe tells lawyer Miguna to keep off her marital affairs ‘this is not politics’

Singer cum entrepreneur Esther Akoth alias Akothe wedded her lover Dennis Schweizer at a glamorous ceremony in Windsor Golf Hotel.

Following her grand wedding to little-known Mzungu, many took to social media looking for Schweizer’s profile.

However, since Schweizer nicknamed Omosh has little activities going on, many assumed that Akothe was the one who funded the wedding.

For instance, controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna in a tweet seen by Kivumbi.co.ke termed Akothe’s wedding as a ‘red flag’.

“A bright red flag. I hope she has a prenup and a will. Wishing her well,” political analyst Miguna Miguna said.

However, on Thursday, April 20, Akothe fired back at Miguna Miguna telling him to keep off her marital affairs.

In a statement, the Sweet Love hitmaker asked those close to Miguna Miguna to stop comparing her wedding to politics and that he should first consider his net worth before hurling insults at her hubby.

She said Miguna was suffering from ‘inclusivity deficiency’ since he was not invited to her wedding.

“Someone tell Miguna Miguna this is not politics and he should tell me his net worth before he attacks my husband, inclusivity deficiency,” she said.

The colorful ceremony was attended by invite-only dignitaries including Gender Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa, Lawyer PLO Lumumba, Langata MP Jalang’o, and wife, Homa Bay Woman Rep Bensouda Atieno.

Others included Kisumu First Lady Dorothy Nyongo, MP Millie Odhiambo, Former CAS David Osiany and his wife Syombua Osiany, and Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu among others.

The wedding was held on her birthday. She turned 40 years.

Akothe’s close friend Sandra Dacha revealed that the wedding cost between KSh 15 to KSh 20 million

In an interview with YouTuber Trudy Kitui, Sandra gushed about how the event was money well-spent and there was no need to beg for money from well-wishers.

“Cash money. Hakukuwa na paybill, na hakuchangiwa, and there was no committee,” she said.
