Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has sarcastically termed former Law Society of Kenya Nelson Havi as an academic dwarf.
The vocal ODM legislator in a Facebook post on Monday, April 18, shared the report cards for him and Havi.
From the reports, Babu insisted that his intellectual capacity is way above Havi’s.
“Compare and contrast Nelson Havi and know that my intellectual capacity is way above yours. Stop chasing what you can’t catch. We have not discussed my First Class Honors in Actuarial Science and Second Class Honors Upper Division in LLB LAW vis a vis your Pass in LLB Law. A fly can disturb a lion more than a lion can disturb a fly,” Babu Owino said in a Facebook post seen by Kivumbi.co.ke.
It is worth noting that Nelson Havi’s report form is for primary school while Babu’s is for secondary school.
This is not the first time the duo is embroiled in a war of words over their academic credentials.
At some point, the former LSK boss accused the vocal legislator of demeaning other learned friends.
“Babu Owino makes us who went to school and in particular the University of Nairobi, School of Law, Parklands Campus ashamed to imagine that he also went there. An educated imbecile is a danger to the society and the Nation,” said Havi.
But in a rejoinder, Owino Owino said he is much far in terms of academic capacity and that he cannot be compared to Havi even though they went to the same school.
“You always want to compare yourself with me academically but I will confidently tell you that in the intellectual parlance you are a village salad to me. I scored Second Class Upper Division in LLB Law and a First class honors in Actuarial Science,” Owino reacted.
It is worth noting that both Babu Owino and Nelson Havi pursued Law at the University of Nairobi, Parklands Campus.
Babu is seeking to retain his Embakasi East parliamentary seat while Havi is eying the Kangemi parliamentary seat on a UDA ticket.
