Ruto tightly embraces young female politician who was blocked from entering his home

On Friday, June 10, Deputy President William Ruto signed an agreement with the Kenyan women declaring his commitment to the gender if he wins the presidency in the August 9, General Election.

The 2022 presidential front runner William Ruto in the Kenya Kwanza Women Charter pledged several goodies to women ahead of the August polls.

Among those who attended the women’s convention at the Nyayo Stadium includes Linet Chepkorir, famously known as Toto who was once accused of intruding into William Ruto’s Karen home during a leaders’ meeting.

During the meeting, the 2022 presidential front runner William Ruto tightly embraced the 24-year-old politician.

In a photo posted on her official Twitter account, the Bomet Woman Rep aspirant termed the move as a glorious feeling adding that her dreams have been finally fulfilled.

“When a dream is fulfilled, it is always a glorious feeling. This moment right here will never be forgotten,” she captioned the image.

She thanked the United Democratic Alliance party flag bearer William Ruto for introducing the hustler narrative saying she is the best example of a hustler Nation.

“Thank you William Ruto for introducing the hustler narrative. I think countrywide I am the image of hustler Nation,” she said.

In the Charter, the Kenya Kwanza alliance presidential flag bearer William Ruto pledged several goodies to women ahead of the August polls in a move to counter the growing popularity of Raila Odinga’s presidential running mate Martha Karua.

Under the charter, William Ruto’s alliance has pledged to allocate 50 percent of the cabinet position in his government to women.

Ruto further pledged to establish a health program dubbed Hustler Health Care that will give every woman an NHIF health insurance card free of charge for indigent women and at affordable premiums commensurate with one’s income for the rest of the women.
