Strong similarities between Governor Alfred Mutua’s first and second break-up

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua is a man of antics, and this did not end at his role in the cobra squad movie, but follows through his relationships.

On Thursday, November 4, former Machakos first lady Lilian Ng’ang’a awakened the storm of her split from the 2-term Machakos governor.

Unlike the Governor’s earlier statement that their breakup was amicable, Lilian Ng’ang’a said that Mutua is a bitter man who has refused to move on.

The nasty split between Alfred Mutua and Lilian Ng’ang’a is the same script with what was witnessed in 2012, when the former split with his first wife Josephine Thitu Maundu.

In both instances, Mutua has been portrayed as a dramatic man, who refuses to let go easily.

Lilian said that Mutua has refused to get a life and move on.

After his split with Josephine, Mutua refused to let her travel to Australia with their three children.

He went to court to claim custody of the kids, seeking to block Josephine’s trip to Australia.

He has also been depicted as a vengeful man, who does not let a woman leave with the property that she owned during the relationship.

Lilian Ng’ang’a said that Mutua took a car that she owned, and also transferred her shares in a company they owned to his sister Anne Mbandi Mutua.

“Mutua accompanied by his police bodyguard, Martin Nzinghi arrived at my apartment parking lot at Kileleshwa, Nairobi, and without my knowledge or consent and using a spare key which he had illegally obtained, drove away my personal motor vehicle KBY 186G – a car which had been fully registered in my name since 2014,” Lilian said in a press conference on Thursday.

When he parted ways with Josephine, Mutua was accused of sending police officers to block her from accessing a house that she owned in Westlands.

Both cases of Alfred Mutua’s nasty splits have also been accompanied by unending cases.

His separation with Lilian Ng’ang’a has seen Alfred Mutua reported to police officers for forcefully processing her property and threatening to kill people close to her.

In the case of Josephine, Mutua was constantly in court, seeking to stop the division of wealth between him and Josephine.
