The Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli is married to two spouses, Jenifer Khainza Atwoli, and KTN News anchor Mary Kilobi after he parted ways with his second wife Roselinda Simiyu.
Unlike his third and his former second wife who is very popular, little is known about Atwoli’s first wife Jenifer Khainza since she is a very private person.
The mother of seven has largely kept off the media limelight and is hardly seen with her husband. She spends most of his life in their village home in Kwhisero.
However, on Wednesday, June 29, the firebrand unionist wowed Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya supporters after he introduced his rarely seen first wife Jenifer Khainza.
Speaking during a political rally in Khwisero Kakamega County, Atwoli asked his first wife, Jenifer Khainza, to stand up to be seen by those attending the political gathering.
The father of 17, told her first wife to ensure she mobilized her fellow women to come out in large numbers and vote for ODM leader Raila Odinga as the only way of safeguarding her husband’s life against the Sugoi man in reference to Deputy President William Ruto.
“Hapa ndipo nilizaliwa. Bibi yangu ako hapa. (I was born here and my wife is also here)Jennifer stand. Come out in your numbers, get up very early and let’s go vote…
“Wewe uamshe wamama wenzako asubuhi kupigia Raila kura (Wake your fellow women on that morning to vote for Raila Amollo Odinga),” he told the crowd amid cheers.
Atwoli has kind words for his first wife, Jenifer Khainza Atwoli, saying she “respects our marriage” unlike his second wife Roselinda Simiyu who went all hammer and tongs when he kicked her out of their Kileleshwa address.
