Herman Manyora: Kalonzo Musyoka can only win the presidency by accident

by Amos Khaemba

Political analyst Herman Manyora has sensationally claimed that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has absolutely no chance of winning the presidency in the August 9, General Election.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel on Wednesday, January 20, Manyora said that even though Kalonzo is intelligent, the metrics of 2022 presidential election are beyond him.

“Kalonzo Musyoka is an intelligent Kenyan, smart and intelligent. He knows he will not be the president; he stands zero chance except through an accident,

“Kalonzo knows under the normal nature of things, he has no chance of being the president of Kenya, at least not in 2022,” said Manyora.

In relation to One Kenya Alliance flagbearer, Manyora said Kalonzo stands high chances of being the coalition’s flagbearer, deputised by ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi.

“If One Kenya Alliance wanted to field a presidential candidate, there should be no debate about Kalonzo being deputised by Mudavadi,” Manyora said.

Manyora went on to add that there is no perimeter OKA can use to put Mudavadi ahead of Kalonzo, saying naturally the Wiper leader stands more chances than the rest of the OKA principals; Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadi, and Gideon Moi.

Currently, OKA is having a stalemate over identifying its candidate for the August 9, presidential election.

The OKA technical team had identified Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as the most viable candidate, but the principals are yet to agree on the report.

On Musalia Mudavadi’s highly anticipated announcement, the political analyst said Kenyans should not expect any big news as Mudavadi might only declare his candidature and nothing more.

“I was shocked to hear him say that there will be earthquake, I said from which corner. What is “earthquake” in Mudavadi saying I am vying (for the presidency), that I am supporting Kalonzo, that he is going to Azimio or that he will be supporting William Ruto. All his options have no major political ramifications in the country,” Manyora said.
